A true seaside holiday means caring for two things — your peace and the beauty of the nature around us. With us, you find both.
A green corner of calm under Mediterranean shade — perfect for morning coffee, a good book, or simply listening to the silence. Increasingly rare along the coast, here it is at the heart of your stay.
Quiet evenings far from the summer crowds. Mornings wake you with the sound of waves, not traffic. We nurture peace as a gift we share with every guest.
We keep the fresh sea air and scent of pines for all our guests. We are mindful of water and the environment — because respect for nature makes the holiday better for us all.
Amenities
Turanj & surroundings
Turanj is a quiet seaside village on the Pašman channel, linked by a coastal promenade to neighbouring Sveti Filip i Jakov. An archipelago of sixteen islets lies just offshore, including the inhabited island of Babac and, nearby, the world-famous heart-shaped islet of Galešnjak. With Biograd na Moru about 4 km away and Zadar about 25 km away, Turanj makes an ideal base for relaxing and exploring.
Turanj's shoreline is lined with pebble and concrete beaches and countless small stone jetties, perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The water is clean and calm, and the beaches are just a few minutes' walk from the apartments.
A walking and cycling path runs through the village to the "Crni krug" viewpoint overlooking the Pašman channel, the Kornati islands and Lake Vrana, then continues towards Biograd and the cycle trail around Lake Vrana — Croatia's largest natural lake and a nature park known for birdwatching.
Full-day boat excursions to Kornati National Park and Telašćica Nature Park depart from Biograd and Sveti Filip i Jakov, along with fish picnics and trips to nearby islands such as Babac and Vrgada.
Within a day trip you can reach Krka National Park with its waterfalls, the historic city of Zadar with its Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun, and Šibenik. A ferry from Biograd makes the islands of Pašman and Ugljan easy to reach.
Boats, pedal boats and kayaks can be rented in the village, and sailing and diving are on offer. Evenings are best enjoyed in Dalmatian taverns, at fishermen's festivals and with traditional klapa singing.
